The California Department of Public Health Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) is pleased to announce that as of October 1, 2020, they will provide an expeditious pathway for eligible radiologic technologists to receive the California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit without taking the Fluoroscopy examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT®). California Radiologic Licenses, Certificates, and Permits

Welcome! This site is a collaboration between The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and the California Department of Public Health—Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB). If CDPH-RHB has determined you’re eligible for a radiologic license, certificate or permit exam, you can use this site to pay electronically for your exam.

While ARRT administers certain exams for CDPH-RHB, it is not the same as ARRT certification and registration. Learn more about the difference between State Licensing and ARRT credentials.
